Flip the Switch Back

03 Feb Flip the Switch Back

I toss and turn the TV On
The Road is bumping another song
Birds fly fast and thru the night
Light Turned on, it feels so right
Around the corner, market street
Signs the check with bouncing feet
And inches along the winding trail
Dusted by snow, blowing the sail
Fish onward and upwardly trend
Set yourself down by the rivers bend
Able to seas this liquid day
Dreaming towards a better way
Back in business, man it’s hard
Boiled in water, glass house of cards
Talking and turning the light now fading
A weight on the shoulder the load you are trading
Space and time are a treasure
Hunting for truffles is a pleasure
