Your heart shines so brightly that I ‘m blind to your smile
You’ temper the beauty of a goddess with the innocence of a child
Like an angel you hover over the golden path you’ve paved
With all the love from your heart that you thoughtlessly gave
I strive every day to be the best that I can
Just hoping to impress you with the person that I am
I don’t need my eyes to see what is real
I can navigate a minefield with all that I feel
Fueled by your grace and pureness and intention
It is the map I follow to becoming a better person
