To my Friends

I’m writing this, to those I call friends
To paint a clear picture- so they’ll understand
Illustrating for them, the role that they play
And their influence on me, each and every day

To all my dear friends, I need you to see
How hard it is for a person – to impress me
But if they do, I pay close attention
And mimic their greatness trying to achieve their perfection

The price of my friendship, I hope you can afford
And see the beauty of this double edged sword
I’ll love you forever and be good to you
But forever I’ll be jealous of all that you do

Please see the beauty, in my frustration
And realize, in me, you create inspiration
And know that it stems from my pain, this is true
Because I know the reality… I’ll never be as RAD as you
